Vintage 1935 - 37, UNOPENED BOX FORD Charcoal Briquetts VERY RARE great graphics

Ford didn't invent the briquette but he made it popular with his advertising and super production of the handy little things. Ford has so much excess wood waste he started making briquettes. This box was produced between 1935 and 1937. The bags of FORD briquettes were produced before and after this. The box shows the handy Ford Grill and the Ford bag of briquettes (not the way briquetsis spelled on the box - did you notice),also. The Ford Museum web site says it has a box of these briquettes but they are not on display- must be pretty rare. They have a picture on their site. Box is dusty, a bit faded in places, has some creases on 1 side and a bit dirty- but not bad- please see pictures. This box looked better than the Ford museums box actually- tee-he. Box measures about 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" x 3". Do not know if briquettes still burn as box has not been opened.

Any questions, please let me know.
