Vintage 1940's/50's era Denver Rio Grande #206 a C16 steam locomotive b&w photo

I have just purchased a large collection of photograph images, from all over the country, Interurban, steam and diesel era images that I will be listing over the next few months. Please check back often.

Offered for auction is this beautiful vintage 3-5/8" by 6" b&w photo showing the Denver Rio Grande #206 a C16 steam locomotive, this loco was dismantled in 1936, the photo was most likely taken in the 1930's and printed in the 1940's/50's. I am dating this as the paper it is printed on is Kodak Velox paper from the 1940's and 1950's and from knowledge that the family took several trips to Colorado in the 1950's and spent a great deal of time in southern Colorado and northern NM as well as at the Narrow Gauge Museum at Alamosa Colorado which moved to Golden in 1958. Buyer to pay $1.75 1st class postage. I am happy to combine shipments of up to 6 photos for the same postage fee, please allow me to send invoice before making payment if buying more than one photograph so I can combine postage fee. Seller offers a 14 day return for money back less postage charges, if not 100% happy with purchase. Please visit my other auctions as well as "MY STORE "
