Vintage 1940s Sheridan Silver Plate Pedestal Dish This auction is for a beautiful Silver plated Pedestal Dish made in the 1940s by The Sheridan Silver Co. This piece stands 6âe tall with a 31⁄2âe base. The dish itself is 61⁄2âe in diameter and about 11⁄2âe deep. It is completely round and has a scroll pattern that encircles the entitle dish. The pattern consists of a raised flower and leaf which is repeated. On four places around the top edge are a pair of raised flowers. Between the dish and the base is a 31⁄4âe stem. The stem is embossed with the same floral pattern as on the top of the dish. It is pear shaped, starting off narrow at 1⁄2âe, then widening out to 1âe before narrowing back down to 1⁄2âe before attaching to the base. The underneath of the base has the word âeoeSheridanâe Stamped as well as the word âeoeSilverplatedâe. Between those two words, is the famous 3 item logo. The logo consists of a Crown, a letter S and a Sheild. This Piece was purchased at an estate sale. It is in Wonderful condition with no dings or scratches. T is a very tiny mark in the center of the dish but it doesnâe(tm)t look like damage. Itâe(tm)s just a small mark. I have taken photos of the actual piece you are bidding on. This is the product you will actually receive. Other photos are available at your request! Please
