Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome .You are looking at a nice (1960's era) Shure Brothers PE-54 (Unidyne III) dynamic cardioid microphone that has been cleaned and tested. Often referred to as the Paul Butterfield mic it was a favorite of his as a harp mic when performing live on stage as seen in pic # 2. The signal strength on this old girl is 100% and very clear and it comes with it's original 15 foot cable. The Shure PE-54 microphone was basically a Shure 545 S. The satin chrome finish shows the tiniest of pitting here and there as seen in the pics provided. The black plastic fittings look very good with zero cracks or fractures and the Shure label that surrounds the tip of the mic looks great. Zero tarnish or dents on the mesh grill. The black Shure badge is a little rough but the switch works just as it should. Mic
