is a cute It's a Small World doll. Back of head is marked Pressman Toys, Walt Disney Prod., 1965. These dolls were sold at Sears in 1965 after the Small World ride at the 1964-1965 N.Y. World's Fair was such a big hit. The dolls originally sold for $2.97 each per my old Sears Catalog. My parents bought me several of these dolls when I was small (but after having 3 younger brothers who got a-hold of them), I have spent the last 10 years replacing and/or upgrading). These are some of the ones I started with.
Anyway, this doll represents Turkey. She measures about 8" tall. She is made of vinyl and has jointed arms, legs and head. Body is darker than head (but that's how they came). The doll is in good, played with condition. She has black yarn hair and wears a white and gold lacey pantsuit (has a small hole on back shoulder area), a gold headband with white and gold lace and a pair of tan shoes. Cute doll that is over 40 years old!
Please check my other auctions, as I am listing other dolls this week and would definitely combine shipping.
