Vintage 1970s Green Western Electric Push-Button Telephone Great color! The area around the keys is striped grey and black. The cords are both green.UNTESTED. I opened it up to check the dates because buyers have asked me to do this for other phones in the past. The bottom is marked "10/72", inside I saw "8/71" or "71" marked in several places. The inside of the green body is marked "68". As you can see in the photos, there are several places in the cord that are damaged. It sat in an attic for years. The end of the phone line does not have a plug; it has three wires with fork connectors. The handset and body of the phone have a few scratches and similar marks. The metal panel on the bottom has rust. The (rubber?) feet look a little cracked up close. The " *" key on the keypad is light grey, it may have been replaced. Sells as is.
