In the early 80s I attended a charity auction and I won 10 boxes. This pendant was in one of the boxes so I have no provenance at all. I can describe it - there is a lot going on. The total length of the necklace is 36". The pendant measures approximately 3" x 2 1/2". The centerpiece is obviously 4 sided and is "braided" all around it in the silver tone. In the center is a large oval black glass (could be black onyx) and in the center of that is an oval piece of white milk glass which is surrounded by smaller beads of the white milk glass. On top of the small beads are tiny faceted pink rhinestones. The use of rhinestones helps to date it - the use of faceted crystals didn't really begin to become popular with designers until the mid 60s. The tassel hanging from the base has 7 individual chains. There are no hallmarks of any kind on the piece and there is no verdigris, rust or dents or missing stones. It could really use a good cleaning but I'll leave that to my buyer. Its really just dusty. I did manage to keep it in a pet and smoke free environment. Thanks for taking the time to look!

Payment is expected within 3 days of purchase and I will ship to USA only within 1 business day. Please don't ask me to ship to any address other than the one associated with the paypal account - thanks.
