Fantastic Vintage Original 1970s era Pan Am Boeing 747-121 in 1/200 scale. Registration is N74PA. 12 inches wide wingtip to wingtip and 14 inches long from nose to back of empennage. This is a solid resin/plastic model, rather than the later, cheaper, hollow models. Decals are intact and in great shape, still bright and great color. Paint is in good shape, note that there is some slight age crazing as seen in photos, and 2 chips near the tail on the starboard side. Stand is original and the mount is still very tight and holds the model well at any angle. In a bit of interesting history this plane, Flight 845, was involved in a crash at San Francisco International Airport in December, 1971 that seriously injured 2 passengers and ended in a crash landing. The plane was ultimately repaired, passed from owner to owner and eventually became a novelty restaurant in South Korea before being scrapped in 2010.This model displays very well and looks great from any angle. A fantastic piece of history from the late great Air Jet Advance Models in Miami Florida.Any questions please ask.Thank you.
