Here is a vintage tin sign for Al Capone's hideout, The Hideout in Couderay Wisconsin. Capone is one of the characters featured on Boardwalk Empire, new series on HBO. This sign was done by Modern Signs in Chicago, in 1961. The original owners were from Chicago, and thats why the signs were made there... The Hideout was open to the public from 1961-1963. Then it officially reopened in 1971, and was open until 2009. In late 2009 the LCO casino bought the property, and this is the first year, in 37 years it, has not be open to the public. This is a rare sign, will be a fine addition, to some gangster collectors, collection. Measures approx 20" x 15". Picture is of the actual sign you will recieve. Guarenteed 100% Authentic. The third picture is what Al Capone's home looked like, it is an old postcard from 1950, it is NOT included with the sale. But just to give you an idea of what the place looked like... No reserve
