Vintage Antique Religious Oak Wood Church Display Shelf

A year or two ago the Catholic Church sent Bishop Lennon to the Cleveland, Ohio area to close a bunch of churches. Many of these churches were old and had beautiful works of art and antique vintage furniture. This shelf came out of one of those churches. Which one I don't know. It was made to fit inside the studs of a wall. A cut out would be made in the plaster or drywall and the shelf would fit into this nitch. You can mount it that way or hang it on the wall as it is by adding some hangers. It appears to be made of oak and needs to be refinished. Someone used some wood putty on parts of the wood and it needs a little sanding and a new finish but this is a one of a kind antique. I don't know if this would be Gothic style or something else. Let me know if you have any info on this piece. It is quite large and measures approx 31 inches tall, 15 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches deep. The middle shelf bows out another 3 inches at its deepest. The back of the shelf which goes into the wall measures 28 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches. The recessed display shelf measures approx 15 inches by 10 inches wide. There is a decorative wood piece which can be pulled out and items stored inside on the bottom part. One very small piece of wood trim is missing on the left side but it is on the part that sits against the wall and not noticable unless you look
