Up for bid is a Vintage Portable Bell sewing machine with handy carrying, storage case and some accessories. This sewing machine was the smallest sewing machine made in its time (smaller than a singer feather weight). It is made by the Bell Co. in U.S.A. The size of the case is 13 1/8 inches long by 6 3/4 inches deep and 7 1/2 inches height(handle not included in height measurement). The machine is in good working order and looks very very nice also. Looks like it has not been used very much. T are a couple of surface scratches on the metal plate of bed. T is a black button on the bed of the sewing machine that when pushed pops open the cover feed plate to give access to the bobbin. The bobbin case and a bobbin are inside. T is a light under the top of the machine for easy viewing while you sew. The light switch is on the back of the machine. T is a working reverse and forward switch on the front. Includes the foot pedal and 6 foot cord (both in very very good condition) for operation of machine. Has the Good HouseKeeping Guarantee seal on back. I did turn the machine on and it works and the light comes on. Machine seems to work fine, but I did not run any stitches as I am not sure how to thread the machine.
