AUNT PETITOES Charmingly modelled by Albert Hallam in 1970 until 1988 for Beswick Pottery. This is an edition BP3b, and has the requisite copyright date stamp to the base - as well as further hand-painted identifications of '27' and '87' Model No. P2276 Lovely hand painting with deep fresh colours. This was always one of my favourites as a child - her smile is so very kind! NO DEFECTS with : Glaze - no cracking There are no scratches. There are no chips. THE HISTORY: All my Beatrix Potter figurines come from our family collection and are all pre-1990. Lovingly collected by my late Aunt who, over the years, managed to find the entire run of Beatrix Potter figurines - with the exception of a very few. She loved them and as a child, I was allowed to look - but not touch! She had an eye for finding the better examples and would often reject one she needed, if she didn't think the painting and decoration was just right. They have been living in our family house in Devon since their purchase - but sadly I just don't have the room for them anymore, and would love them to find new homes - please take care of them for me, they are very special. IMPORTANT: Please have a look at my other items and perhaps bookmark my catalogue - there are plenty to be added and they include the VERY RARE 'Duchess with flowers'.. THE BORING STUFF
