For your consideration is a large, deep cast aluminum leaf-shaped dish designed by renowned New York artist Royal Hickman and manufactured by Bruce Fox. It was cast at the company Fox founded in New Albany , Indiana and likely dates 1940 to 1950. During its height in the 1940âe(tm)s and 1950âe(tm)s, aluminum was a relatively rare, âeoespace ageâe product that was new to many people and had great appeal as a decorative element in their homes. This piece has Royal Hickmanâe(tm)s âeoeRHâe hallmark and name on the bottom. Bruce Foxâe(tm)s signature is clearly visible on the bottom as well. It is in excellent estate conditionâe¦No major dents or dings, only very minor surface wear that you would expect on a piece 50 to 60 years old. It is a wonderful large piece for coffee table display, approximately fifteen inches long, nine and three quarters inches wide and stands on five small feet at two and one quarter inch high. If you win an auction and decide to bid on a second, let me know. Iâe(tm)ll be happy to hold your wins, up to seven days, until you're ready for a total. Winnerâe(tm)s win again on combined shipping!
