That's what I did back in 1980, and we had a great time! I still have my souvenirs from that trip, and I've decided it's time to let someone else enjoy them.
You will get THREE great Buzzard Day items: A Buzzard Country coffee mug! This is a nice sturdy classic ceramic mug, 3 3/4 inches tall. An original 45 record of the "Buzzard Ballad"! Recorded by a local band who called themselves "The Buzz" back then; the B side song is "Cows Don't Fly." This record was autographed by Jim T., who I think was either the band manager or a member. (Note: The record label actually says "Buzzard Ballard" which is either a typo or an inside joke.) A genuine Buzzard Day pin! Enamel on solid brass, 2 3/8 inches tall. Legend says the pin was designed by Al Capp. I was told that this particular pin was the last one available, as no more pins would be ordered. There are a few scratches on the back, other than that it's in great shape.
