This knife is in mint condition and is housed in a hardwood shadow box with glass top. The walnut stained wood does have some minor scratches. This is the first issued Moby Dick knife... Measures 5 1/4" folded with a 4" blade which is marked Case XX on one side and W165 SAB SSP on the other. This is also numbered SO733. The bone handle is scrimshawed with a ship and a man harpooning a whale. This is a signed piece with the artists initials H. L. The nickle silver bolsters are engraved and the liners are solid brass.Outstanding Vintage Knife...
