Vintage Cambridge Candelabra Epergne

By Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio is this elegant and sophisticated 3-lite Candelabra/Epergne. This candelabra/epergne was from the Cambridge No. 1358 line of glassware, and was made during the 1949 to 1953 era. It is listed in Cambridge catalogs as an "Epergne", but it accomodates three candle fonts and as such it is not just an epergne, but also a candelabra.

The construction of this gorgeous piece is such that it can be configured in several ways. The item actually consists of six pieces that are easily disassembled. The main part of the candelabra is the base, which can function alone as a 3-lite candleholder. To the base is added the two bobeches with cut crystal prisms, which would allow the base with bobeches to function as a more decorative 3-lite candleholder. By adding the arm to the center candle font, the two epergne vases are added to the candelabra, and thus it becomes a candelabra epergne.

This fantastically elegant Cambridge Candelabra Epergne is in EXCELLENT CONDITION , with no chips or cracks. T are two very tiny flakes on the loops of the arm (the part w the vases fit into the arm) but these are more easily felt than seen.
