This is an unusual Vintage Striped Turquoise Salt and Pepper Shakers from Carrigaline Pottery in Cork County, Ireland. Carrigaline Pottery went out of business in 1979. There is nothing that tells me the date these were made. The striped pattern is called COLLEEN and many pieces are marked with Colleen Kitchenware on the bottom. The Colleen Pattern is Ireland's version of English Cornishware. The founder went to Stoke on Trent, England to learn the process. I will be listing many pieces in a variety of colors from a private collection this week so please check in regularly to see what is listed. The Salt and Pepper Shakers are 4.5" tall and just over 2" in diameter at the bottom. They both have their "bungs" or stoppers here in America! Normal wear on the bottom unglazed edge. Please see pictures. They really are in excellent condition. There are 2 pair listed and this set is in the best condition. This item will be shipped by Priority Mail which includes $50 worth of insurance. If you would like more insurance than that, please add extra at checkout or I will email you an invoice if you let me know. This item comes from a smoke-free home and will be packed very carefully. I do accept returns but only if I have made an error in the listing. I ship the day after confirmed !
