Original section of bleacher bench straight from the friendly confines. Aged ballpark green paint reflects so many years of service. Section of wood measures 21 14" long, 9" wide, and 1 1/2" thick. Initials "AN + RW" are lightly carved into wood, reflecting a love affair that could very well have started on this very bench. It is unknown if this piece is from the left field [sucks] side, or right field [sucks] side of the grand old ballpark. I personally purchased this from the Cubs sale on April 22, 2006. Although this was at the time of the first renovation of the bleachers, these wooden benches were removed many years earlier as aluminum seating was used here for many years. These wooden ones would date to the original installation of the bleachers in 1937. L.O.A. can be brought up on the MLB authentication web site using the number BB072174, which is on a hologram attached to the bench. The L.O.A. lists a different length. [This was common on these as the crew cut up many of these and some were cut longer rather than to waste a short section.]Free shipping to the 48 states.
