Vintage Delivery Truck Brass Gas Filler Nozzle U S Army

Up for bid is a Brass Filler Nozzle used on the hose of a delivery truck that perhaps delivered gas to farms, etc. (but may have been used on a U. S. Army base because of the markings). It is marked as follows: Air Corps U S Army and the number W-535-AC-26976, along with the Patt. # U-177-B-G. It also has the following markings: -OPW- CIN. O. 616 G., and the number 1 1/4, which must be the diameter of the nozzle.

This brass filler nozzle belongs to Mr. Kenneth Boyd of Roosevelt , Oklahoma . Mr. Boyd is 77 years old and has lived all of his life on the farm that has been in his family for over 100 years. He has been restoring petroleum products for several years now, having restored approximately 85 gravity-flow gas pumps to date (among other restoration projects).
