Description :For consideration is a vintage Denkert H792 Rip Collins autographed model baseball glove ca. 1920's-30's. The inside palm of the leather glove is stamped "COWHIDE" "Denkert H792" "Greased Palm" "RIP COLLINS TRADEMARK" with "Rip Collins" auto-signed. The glove measures 10" long and 7" across. I believe this is a first baseman's glove. This is a rare collectible glove. Condition :Photos are of actual glove. Two of the brighter photos were taken with a flash. The glove definitely shows usage. The back of the glove has a previous owners name (Bobby Segall) written in ink twice - one being on the bottom wrist strap and the other on the top. There also appears to be some ink staining the same color as the previous owners name. The inside of the glove has several stress lines but, no cracks through the leather. All the leather remains durable and pliable but, could use a conditioning to soften it up and maybe even a cleaning. The palm of the glove has a few surface rub marks. The black stitch molding is cracked throughout with some surface loss and rub-through. Part of the stitching has come lose on the corner where the thumb part meets the glove.
