Up for auction is a Primus straight razor with a 5/8 inch wide blade. T is only one very small nick in the cutting edge. The blade has a 2 ½ inch cutting edge. The blade has a couple of circular marks on the face which look like water or tarnish spots. The scales have no cracks but have a couple of small scratches on one side near the pivot end. The blade fits snugly between the scales. The markings on one side of the razor near the pivot end are: C. FRIEDR. ERN WALD-GERMANY 560. The other side of the pivot end says: PRIMUS. On the face of the blade in gold block is: PRIMUS and underneath is the word: REGISTERED. The razor comes in its original case. On the case is imprinted: ERN-PRIMUS RAZOR 560 Solingen . The words are difficult to read on the case. I'm not sure if the lettering was imprinted with gold because it is worn away. The lather brush's base is chipped. The base was made with an impression for placing the thumb. The brush hairs are in very good shape.
