Vintage Linden Triple Chime tambour mantle clock in very good condition, but not running. It has three different chime sequences available: Westminster, St. Michael and Whittington, plus the option to silence the chimes. I tested each chime and they work fine, as does the strike. It has a Hermle movement, which was installed new in November 1988 according to the servicing tag on the inside of the door. The movement is marked A, Franz Hermle, Two (2) Jewels Unadjusted, Made in West Germany, 1050-020. Since it does not want to run on its own, the movement will likely require professional servicing. A key is included. The case is in good shape with minor dents, scratches and rubs; it is marked Germany on the back. The dial is signed Linden, Made in Germany. The bezel is heavily tarnished. The case is approximately 9 1/8" high, 19" wide, and 5" deep. This clock should be a nice keepsake with beautiful sounding chimes once repaired.
