Up for auction is a darling Kewpie tea pot and matching lid. The piece is signed by Rose O'Neill Wilson and it has the German Royal Rudolstadt/Prussia mark. I beleive the tea pot dates to circa 1914. The 3 Kewpie dolls are having a great time gleefully playing outdoors in the grass. The same transfer scene is shown on both sides. See pics. The transfer is crisply executed on both sides with clear details and no wear. The pot with lid on measures 5 1/2" tall with a base diameter of almost 2 3/8". The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, nicks, crazing or repairs. The gold banded accents on the lid have considerable wear but the gold accents on the pot itself have fared much better over the years. T are several picture showing the sweet details. This would make a nice addition to your Kewpie collection. Thanks for viewing and good luck. Buyer pays ACTUAL USPS or UPS shipping cost plus optional insurance. I don't charge any handling fees.
