For auction is a Unique, one of a kind handmade Hutch / Cupboard made of pine. It is in original & untouched condition. It is put together with antique cabinet nails. The back is rough pine. On the top right side the crown molding is brokenand is missing a piece. All the wood appears to retain its original color. The doors are frosted glass paneled. The drawerpulls are made of beautiful carved wood. This is a very unique piece of Americana. The are four locks that are turned by a skeleton key which has a hollow tip-type. We do not posses the keys but you can easily obtain one if needed. The lower left hinged door (small one) is locked fromthe inside. It is a two piece construction. The underside of the top has a groove that fits onto the base. We believe it to be from the 1850's, possibly into the 1860's. Other than the top trim, it is in outstanding condition. It was photographed in it's unprepared condition-- no dustingpolishing, etc. I didn't want to mess with it at all!!! are the dimensions:Overall Height: 88-3/4"Max Width: 41-1/4"Max Depth: 20-3/4"Base height: 34-1/8"Base width: 41-1/4"Base depth: 20-3/4"Top height: 54-1/4"Top width at trim: 39-3/4"Top width of cabinet: 36-3/4"Top depth with trim: 17-1/2"Top depth of cabinet: 15-1/4"Inside top cabinet dimensions:Top 3 shelves: 9-1/8" high x 13" deep4th from top: 9-7/8" high
