This is a beautiful, pristine, "Hen on a Nest" glass dish, in Satin Mist Lime , ( Blue and Lime were the only two colors produced in "Satin Mist")from Indiana Glass Company, made in Dunkirk, Indiana. T are NO CHIPS, CRACKS, OR BLEMISHES! T is a mold mark on the top of the Hen's back, a circle of about 1.25", but not raised. It is in MINT condition with the original box that is in good condition- only a couple of marks from tape and some discoloration on the lid from perhaps someone's moist hand...I found it recently at an Estate Auction. The base is beaded, so that tells me that was made from 1962- 1970. The older "hen on a nest" items from Indiana Glass Co. did not have the beading. Also, the box says, "Indiana Glass Company, a subsidary of Lancaster Colony Corporation", as that merge was made in 1962 and the Satin Mist line was added then and apparently only produced during that period. Buyer pays flat fee shipping of $8.00 plus insurance on final auction price. I USE LOTS OF BUBBLE WRAP AND A LARGE ENOUGH BOX TO PROTECT THE GLASS! Thanks for looking and take a look at my other auction items. I have several Kentucky Derby Glasses for sale! Happy E-baying! I am now told that Iniana Glass only made the Lime Green color and not the Blue in the Satin Mist......
