Hand coiled and formed of the type of Hopi clay that fires red, the piece is stone polished on both front and back, and has a band of traditional designs in dark brown vegetal paint across the front of the "bowl" portion holder for the corn meal, with fire clouds that denote the piece was pit fired, and a hole in the back panel, so you could hang it on a nail. Dimensions are 4-3/4 inches high from base to top, 5 inches wide, and 3-3/8 inches deep front to back. Check out the photos, t are several views around the piece, and the soup can is included so you can get an idea of the size. Not signed, as would be expected for a piece of this age. You don't see these pieces too often, so if you like vintage Hopi pottery,
