I AM NOT SELLING A KIT , only a new, full-size copy of Dennie Davis' famous MINI HOGAN 45 Berkeley kit PLAN . The model has a 45" wing span, used an O.K. Cub .049 or .074 or .099 engine.
I built this model and the companion MINI HOGAN 34 Berkeley kit when I was a boy of 15. I used an O.K. Cub .049 in mine. The local hobby shop never stocked the Cub .074 or .099 sizes. These MINI HOGAN designs flew so well I still have them in my workshop some 65 years later.
The most important feature to me back then was that the wing and stab have a sheeted leading edge. This made both very sturdy to resist warping in the hot sun and strong enough to keep it from being destroyed if the model collided with a tree limb. The Wasp .049 came out soon after this kit was distributed and the model should fly even better with that extra power.
MY LAST FOUR COLOR PICTURES ARE OF THE KIT LABELS OF MORE 1/2A KIT PLANS I LIST SEPARATELY.
You are purchasing a full-size new copy of the original 1950s MINI HOGAN 45 Berkeley kit PLAN .
