Your looking at a Vintage Mission Desk, circa 1910.I have been in possession of this desk 15 or so years. The desk is in very good shape,it has a drawer in the front, original hardware, shelfs on both sides, could hold twenty or more books on each side.To my knowledge it has never been refinished, only murphy's oil soap to clean it.When i received this desk, the front leg,the dowel pins were broke,so i put new dowel pins in,who ever fixed it before me also had a couple of screws holding the leg so i took them out,but never filled them with putty,i just didnt think it needed it,desk is very solid and dosen't wobble ,nice and tight. You can see the screw holes in the picture. Also as you can see in the picture the top has a scratch in it about 3 inches long, this is the way i received it.The drawer has the classic dove tails holding it together,t is a piece of the maker label under the drawer and the numbers 292 with a 2 under it.(maker label can't be identified)Desk is 29 and 3/4 inches high,43 and 1/4 inches long and 25 and 1/4 inches wide. This piece would be a lovely addition to any home.If you have any questions please e-mail me. Shipping:It is a PICK UP ONLY on the shipping or for $40.00 extra i will deliver up to 100 Miles from my house.(wilkes-Barre,Pa.)
