*** Vintage NORTHWEST AIRLINES Stewardess Half-Wing - 3rd Issue ***Up for bidding is this NorthWest Airlines Stewardess half-wing - 3rd Issue. Issued and worn from approx.1956-59 This wing features a red,white and blue bull's-eye design. It measures 2" across and has a horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch. It is made of sterling silver with red,white and blue enameling. It is hallmarked Sterling on the back. It remains in VG+ condition displaying quite nicely. There is light surface wear and tarnishing. I'm thinning out my airline insignia collection that I've had for over 30 years.I will be selling a large collection of airline wings,badges and pins from many different airlines some still flying but many long out of business or part of all the airlines mergers.
