...Old Vintage...Preben Holm 'Hand Cut' tobacco pipe...

Ah Yes....Preben Holm! The carver everyone coveted during the 1970s Free-Hand Era of pipe making. God I must have had 30, 40 of his pipes along with many Mike Kabiks and later Ben Wades...among others. I always thought that the Preben Holm pieces smoked and looked the best. I sold most of my free-hands to get into the more traditional English shaped pipes. But I always held onto this one. It smoked so well, was so balanced and so beautiful to look at........I have maybe 300 hundred pipes now and don't smoke this one much and if I don't smoke a piece from my collection, I get rid of it. SO now it is available to a good home. I hope the pictures do this beauty justice. The grain is INCREDIBLE. There are no dings, scratches or rim char. The shallow bite marks on the stem are minor and can be easily buffed out. I don't buff my pipes. Yes the original pipe sock is included. Bowl height is about 3 1/8 in., overall length of the pipe is 5 5/8 in. Very Comfortable in the hand.....Bid now before I change my mind
