Vintage Roland Klein Silk Dress

In the 1960s Roland Klein joined Dior and was then an assistant to Karl Largerfeld at Jean Patou. He then opened his own salon in London and designed clothes for the Princess of Wales.
This off the peg size 12 beautiful luxurious long silk dress has a scarf-type tie that is an integral part of the back of the dress (see 2nd photo). Photos 3 and 4 show the scarf-type tie knotted. It has a back opening with five silk covered buttons and loops. There is a spare button stitched to an inside seam. The silk has lovely soft circle patterns as shown in photo 5. I think that it is very glamorous and it is in excellent condition.
