This is a vintage Sadler cube teapot in the 1922 style with gold gilt trimmings. The color is similar to a dark olive green. It is about 9" from the tip of the spout to the edge of the handle, about 6" tall to the top of the lid, and about 4.5" wide. The stamped makers mark on the bottom says Sadler, Made in England. There is also a hand-written 1922 followed by a symbol that looks like a question mark, but it might be something else like an artist's initial. The teapot is in nice used condition. There are several spots where the gold has worn or chipped off, and there is a small chip in the glaze at the base of the spout where the white porcelain shows through. It has been used as there is some tea staining on the inside at the bottom. All in all, it is in good elegant-looking condition and shows well. There is free shipping to the USA. We found that what we thought was a chip was a fleck of paint and it is now gone. This piece is free of any chips or cracks!!!
