VINTAGE 'STADIUM' OPEN FACE CRASH HELMET - RED / WHITE & BLUE- CIRCA MID 1970s

An iconic, vintage open face helmet

Stadium 9

Crash Helmet

and BOB HEATH JET FLAP visor

This version is believed to have been issued during the mid 1970s .

The helmet is a dirty creamy white colour,

with brand name decal stickers.

It has red, white and blue stripes, with a red numeral 9,

and is A C U and BS approved 5361-76.

The overall original worn condition of this helmet is fair

considering it's age and obvious use.

There are many small marks, scratches and scuffs to the surface.

The internal lining has become detached and the

foam padding has disintegrated, leaving the polystyrene lining visible.

The metal studs and buckle have started to rust

and the visor is quite scratched.

Please refer to the pictures

for more detail, to see what you think, as we are not experts.

There is no internal label or indication of size.

Still, an interesting and collectable item for the enthusiast.

Collection is welcome from one

of our two locations - Aylesbury, Bucks

or Berkhamsted, Herts.
