Vintage STEVEN MFG. Co. KALEIDOSCOPE Toy c. 1950s

This C. 1950's Toy Kaleidoscope made by the Steven Mfg. Co. of St. Louis Mo. is in fine condition. The viewing barrel has no cracks or other damage. The clear lens on the front does have a crack in it, but the screw on collar holds it in place and it works well. If you so desire, this lens can be replaced by a typical flashlight lens to make the toy perfect.
As you can see, the toys come with its original box and directions sheet. The Kaleidoscope measures eight&1/2" long. It's designed to be loaded with any items of your choice by removing the collar and putting in whatever crosses your imagination, e.g., tacks, macaroni, buttons, screws, etc. When turned, the kaleidoscope creates an infinite array of symmetrical designs. On the barrel of the toy is molded into the work the information, " Millions of Designs, KALEIDOSCOPE, Steven Mfg. Co. St. Louis, Mo. ".
Would make a cool and colorful addition to your kaleidoscope collection . . .
