Description: Early 1930's BEAUTIFUL sterling bracelet crafted in Taxco by known silver maestro R. Rivera. A known early silversmith,
his classic style and quality are typical of the early years of the Taxco renaissance. The panels have fine detail and an unusual stylized motif.
The seven curved links are unique in that the end of one link wraps around the front of the next link. This gives a nice soft
design flow to the incised highlighted silver links.
As with many early Mexican pieces, the bracelet closes with a simple hook clasp. The condition is excellent, no dings or apparent wear. Fully hallmarked
with several clear marks including a raised Taxco mark. Much of the older marks were raised as noted in Bille Hougart's ref. book. This is an early
collectible piece easily mixed with another feminine bracelet. See the photos for additional reference.
Construction: Seven curved links with hook clasp closure.
Size: 7 1/4" x 7/8" including the clasp. Weight: a substantial 22gr.
Hallmark(s): "R.RIVERA, 925, Silver, Taxco". As mentioned, the Taxco is a separate raised mark.
