DESCRIPTION : This is a LOVELY sterling silver bracelet that was made in Taxco, Mexico, after 197. It is masterfully crafted and consists of seven large, thick links (1/4" thick) ~ each link is a different gemstone in the most gorgeous, rich organic colors of black with silver and gold highlights (I believe that this is obsidian), green (malachite), turquoise with beautiful matrix, a pink, black and cream stone, a teal stone with glittering highlights, black onyx and brown with black accents ~ the spectacular colors and variations of the gemstones are magnificent ~ please be sure to supersize the photos to fully appreciate this fabulous bracelet! The links are quite unique ~ it is almost as though the silver links were formed around the gemstones. Each link is connected on the back with sterling "O" rings. The closure is a tongue and box clasp that works perfectly and closes with a crisp 'click'. A very unique and superbly crafted piece ~ it would be a grand addition to your vintage Taxco silver collection. SIZE: Inside circumference with the clasp closed is 8", width is 5/8" and weight is 56 grams. CONDITION : Excellent vintage condition ~ no chipped/cracked/broken gemstones ~ no damage noted ~ just about perfect! HALLMARKS : "TC-257, MEXICO, 925".
