It has a neon bulb which flashes to indicate radioactivity.

Has 2 vacuum tubes inside the unit.

The case measures 1-3/4 inches x 4 inches x 7 inches.

Unit runs on 2 D size cells. Originally sold for 49.95 back in 1955.

Now, I've put batteries in it - the unit starts buzzing and the neon bulb starts flickering, audible !!!

So its being sold as-is but from all indications, if its not currently working it could be probably be fixed pretty easy as schematic is inside lid/cover.

Note: the 2 batteries will be removed prior to shipment and NOT included.

Some corrosion at one time or another inside.
