This is a very old (maybe the first of its' kind) travel iron. It is approx. 8" long including the stand, 4" wide, and 5 " high including the wooden
handle. The sole plate is only 1/2" thick. The stand has printed on it "Durabilt Folding Travel Iron" - The Winsted HWD MFG CO., Winsted,
Conn., USA - 115V. - 375W. It also has some patent numbers. It has a 70" cloth covered cord, which is in great condition. The wooden
handle has 5 small little dings. T is a little 9" x 6" blue plaid bag for packing, and it is covered with some kind of heat absorbent material which
is disintegrating. I did plug it in and it does work. (T is no discoloration on the sole plate - t must have been a reflection in the picture.)
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
