Vintage Universal Toaster made by Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn., USA. With a patent date of July 28, 1914. The bottom has the info and says, Volts 108/116, it's number #9947, Watts 500. Judging by that & the cord info, it could most likely be used in European currents? It measures 6 3/4" tall, 7 3/4" long & 3 3/4" wide It is nickle silver/ chrome finish with very light rust on sides. I am not comfortable in cleaning it a great deal, for fear of damaging it's value. It has celluloid or bakelite turn handles and feet. The bread holders rotate out to run over & toast the second side. It has the original cottom wrapped cord with the off-on switch, made by T&M Co. marked 250 V-3amp, 125 V6amp, made in USA with an off-on switch. I'm not sure how that is supposed to work. It heats up quite well as you can see in the one photo but I've not toasted bread in it. It was from the basement in an estate in Glenwood Springs Colorado, which is why it is not totally rusted. It's been stored there since probably 1930 or before. I will leave feedback for you, when you have left feedback-- Please examine the photos carefully, because I am not an expert.
