Up for auction is a gorgeous, 7 1/2", hard plastic Ginny from the early 1950's. She is dressed in a 1952 mint green Vogue outfit, complete with oilcloth centersnap shoes and mint green socks. Ginny has brown eyes which remain in the open position. She has beautifully blushed light pink cheeks with no rubs and red lips. She has very vivid brown brows and lashes, not green or yellow at all. Ginny has pretty light blonde hair with partially glued down bangs and still plenty of original curl. Her bangs do need taming, but, I left them as they are. They are kind of cute this way. Her hair is thick and beautiful. Ginny's body is in wonderful condition, with no repairs, splits, marks or glue residue. She has all ten fingers and is marked Vogue Doll on her back. The darling outfit Ginny is wearing is tagged with the slender tag stating "Vogue", which makes the outfit from 1952. It is in wonderful condition with no tears or repairs. You can tell it has never been laundered from the looks of the tag. The skirt is made of organdy with a cotton bodice and trim around the hem. The dress is trimmed in white lace and white loopy trim around the neckline. The dress closes in the back with a hook and eye, no rust. The bloomers match the hem and bodice of the dress. The elastic in them is good. The outfit is clean, bright and crisp, just darling.
