About the lamp : Original PH 5 lamp in the color white. The PH5 is a total glare free architecturally scaled system of perfectly formed graduated reflector shades. The shades are supported by a series of arched struts and provide a soft ambiance of uniform symmetric light. The shades are finished in baked white enamel, the struts are lilac. Dimension : Specs. Size: 19.7" diameter (50 cm.), 11.1" tall. Condition : This PH5 lamp appears in good condition, there is a small scratch on the big screen as shown on the p icture otherwise very nice pictures no. four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten show the actually lamp for sale. The lamp is fitted with socket and comes with new cord . The lamp will be delivered gently cleaned making the lamp just ready for use on 100V or 220V 50/60 Hz systems and use a standard or energy saving bulb op to 200w History : The PH 5 lamps was designed by the famous Danish designer and architect Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) back in 1958 and is still being produced today by the sole manufacture Louis Poulsen, Denmark. Even though Poul Henningsens is mostly known from his lamps his talent was much diversified he worked as an independent architect in Copenhagen where he designed several houses, a factory, a part of Tivoli, and the interiors of two theaters.
