VNT TAXCO MEXICO METALES CASADOS (MARRIED METALS) CHOKER NECKLACE & BRACELET

From a fabulous San Diego estate sale came this vintage, 1970's, choker and bracelet set that was made in Taxco, Mexico. Metales Casados, (married metals), consist of sterling silver, copper and brass. This style of marrying the metals together began with the Mexican silversmith Los Castillo in the 1940's, (these pieces are not signed with his signature). The choker style necklace measures 15 inches long by 1/4 inch wide. The bracelet is 7 inches long by 1/4 inch wide. They are dark with patina from age and I will leave the polishing up to the winning bidder. Total weight 75.7 grams.
The low starting bid and no reserve price is no reflection on the value of this item . I realize the fun is in the bidding process and when the auction is over, the price is exactly what it should be.
I am always happy to combine items to save on shipping charges.
