Up for bids is a cool old wool flannel game used baseball jersey. It is made by Horace Partridge of Boston, MA. My best estimate would date this jersey to the 1920's or so. It has a sun collar, which was a common feature through the 1920's.It is a button front jersey, not a pullover style. The sleeves seem to be slightly longer than a modern short sleeve jersey, which was a common style in the 1920's era. I'm not sure what team wore this jersey. It has a felt fancy S sewn on the front that still looks really nice. The coloring has bled into the fabric around the logo area.
The jersey measures 22 inches pit to pit and 30 inches long.
The jersey shows some game use, but for as old as it is, it still looks really nice. I would consider this jersey still very wearable!
