Welcome back knife enthusiasts. I've got several nice knives to auction that would make great X-Mas gifts. All are 1st time listings for me. At the time I purchased these knives, I intended to keep them in my collection. What that means to you, the buyer, is that they're all quality knives, in new condition (unless otherwise described). So, Please see my other current and upcoming auctions for quality collectible knives from Case, Buck, Kershaw, and others. This knife: Wow!! Gorgeous, Hard-to-Find W.R. Case and Sons Sidewinder Side-Release Folding Locklade Made in 1981 (9-Dot) New with Sheath, In Factory Box with Paperwork Not often seen new W.R. Case and Sons Sidewinder, unused and uncarried. I believe that this model was made only from 1980-1982. Knife is just as it left the factory. 8-3/4" OAL 3-1/2" hollow-ground, modified drop point blade with factory edge Blade etched with Sidewinder Logo Tang stamp "CASE XX (nine dots) SS USA" on front, with "PAT. PEND'" on reverse Blade release button, marked "CASE", inset into handle. Push to close blade. Half-open blade stop Super strong backspring gives blade monsterous snap! Nickel silver head bolster only on this knife SS backspring and spacer Brass liners and pins Handle looks like rosewood, but I believe is pakkawood (see photos).
