7 War medals World War 2 and Korean and Photo album


First of all I would like to apologise to anyone who bidded on these medals previously. The reason I ended the listing was purely down to about 40 emails I received telling me that it would be a slight on my fathers name and achievement not to sell all the medals in one lot and to keep them altogether rather than split them all up. I also now know that any other information regarding my fathers career would be useful so i have included in this auction a photo album which he kept when he was on board which i must admit is intriguing as in image 7 there is a picture of him in uniform with the actual medals I am selling pinned to his chest. There is also included 5 brass buttons from his uniform and a cufflink on the back of the buttons, it has the words Buttons Ltd Birm which i assume means Birmingham. My Father died over 25 years ago and never really spoke about his time during the war except telling me when i was small and inquisitive about how he had to swim for it on a couple of occasions. I believe he joined approx 1937-38 and ended his service around late 50s He was a chief petty officer in the engine room and served in World War 2 and the Korean his full name was James Arthur Baldwin.
