Wartime Special Forces / 82nd Airborne Badged OG-107 Uniform Top, Camp X-O

Wartime issued OG-107 uniform garment that is attributed to Alfred D. Wilhelm and was badged on the left sleeve with a US cut edge 82 nd Airborne Division Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (SSI), the right sleeve has a cut edge Special Forces SSI, Captains rank insignia on the collars, the right chest name tape reads: WILHELM and the left chest has a white U.S. ARMY tape that is surmounted with US Basic Airborne Wings and a Combat Infantryman's Badge. The garment shows honest wear and measures out with a 42 inch chest. The veteran had served his first tour in Vietnam in 1964 with 5 th Special Forces Group assigned as the Executive Officer for A-254 and 252 before he was reassigned to C-2 as the assistant S-3. I am uncertain if he returned to CONUS to participate in Operation Power Pack in the Dominican Republic.
