Wedgwood American Clipper (Blue) Four (4) Salad Plates and One Dinner Plate

Wedgwood American Clipper

This pattern is no longer in production. These pieces came from a non-smoking home, and date to approximately 1980. I am the original owner.

The Salad Plates are 8 1/8 inches in diameter and are decorated with the "Red Jacket" clipper ship from 1853.

The dinner plate is 10 1/4 inches in diameter, and is decorated with the "Flying Cloud" clipper ship of 1851.

Condition Notes: These were used daily, and most items show signs of use, including utensil marks.

Three of the Salad Plates and the Dinner Plate show an average amount of wear, but have no chips, cracks, or major scratches. One Salad Plate has a chip on the upper surface of the rim, about the size of a pea. See last photo.
