BEAUTIFUL PALE MAUVE-BEIGE TRIM.Beautiful Olive Green Dip sugar bowl with pale, mauve-beige accidental tricolor. (See additional information for more information on "Accidental Tricolor") This shape is known as 146. The relief designs are of traditional Sacrifice figures. Stamped on the base are "Wedgwood" and "England" only, dating it to between 1895 and 1909, before the Tariff Act requirements were enforced. (see dating information below). Also stamped on the bottom is what appears to be the remnant of a letter "W" and an unusual potter's mark. The size is 4.5 inches wide, not counting the handles, and 4 inches tall to the top of the finial. One handle appears to have been broken and repaired, but it has been done very well and barely shows. See pictures for more information. This lidded sugar bowl shows really well.
