The Weller Pottery of Zanesville was one of the most prolific of the Ohio Potteries, creating lines ranging from high-end art ware to functional commercial ware.� Weller's "Hudson", a highly successful middle period line introduced in the early1920s, was produced for more than a decade in several popular variants including blue and decorated, white and decorated, Hudson light and Hudson Perfecto, and featured matte glazed, hand-painted decoration in a variety of motifs. Today collector generally views "Hudson" as one of the Pottery's most popular lines.� This lovely blue and decorated Hudson vase features a statuesque faceted form adorned with a profusion of pink and white blossoms against a deep blue ground. � Condition is excellent and factory original, free from chipping, cracking, crazing or restoration, with typical insignificant clay inclusions and glaze fumbles. � Marked with die-impressed "WELLER". � H 11.25", W 6.5", rim 3.25", base 5"�
