" Westclox " Art Deco - "Andover " - Rare Model 865 - Time Only Clock - Near Museum Quality Up for auction today, I present to you yet another of my extremely rare antiques. The VHTF Westclox "ANDOVER" time clock - Model 865. An absolutely stunning clock with classic Machine Age - Art Deco styling. It features a Silver metal dial with Red hands, and numbers, sandwiched between a Clear and Cobalt Blue plate of glass, surrounded by a Nickel plated bezel and base, with a Blue painted back. The clock motor is not self-starting, and features the classic Spin-Start knob on the back. It measures approximately 6-1/2" tall x 5-3/4" wide x2-1/2" deep. and it still has it's original red felt feet on the bottom ! When I bought this clock I was told it was in running condition before the cord was cut due to it's deterioration. I never botd to replace it, as it was so much easier to display without it. These clocks are "extremely" hard to find as survivors these days.. They are difficult to find without chips in the glass, the Cobalt disk in particular, adding to their "Rarity". They are also very highly sought after by Art Deco collectors, for their exquisite design. Made by the Westclox Company, La Salle, Illinois USA, this clock was constructed during 1938 - 1942. S2-L, 110 Volts A.C. 60 Cycles 1.7 Watts, Current interruptions stop clock,
